Project Description
3M, a world-leading diversified technology and innovation enterprise, officially announced the launch of the second-phase expansion project of its structural adhesive production line at the Shanghai Jinshan Plant. After the project is put into operation, the production capacity is expected to increase by more than double, so as to better meet the increasingly diverse and huge application demands for structural adhesives in China's industrial internet, intelligent manufacturing, transportation, home appliances, industrial manufacturing and other fields. In addition to expanding production capacity, 3M also plans to add a structural adhesive testing and experimental center at the Shanghai Jinshan Plant. The testing and experimental center is expected to be put into use in 2022, which will further accelerate the local "R&D - production - testing" link and respond to the growing product innovation demands in the Chinese market.
